About Me

I have been in private practice for 14 years and know that I have found my calling. I love what I do. I have the most fulfilling and fun job I could have ever imagined. Over the years I have been honored to witness the incredible resilience and strength humans can possess. My clients and I enjoy our therapy sessions, and because everything we do is co-created the treatment is powerful and the outcomes last. The vast majority of the time people leave my office feeling much better than when they entered it.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Mesa College in 1988, and a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado in 1991. I became licensed as a professional counselor (LPC) in 1994, and received an MBA from Colorado State University in 1995.  I was born in Denver and have lived in Colorado all my life.

Over my career I have held administrative and executive positions within the behavioral health field. My experiences helped shape my understanding of how life’s stresses cause people pain and how therapy can help. In 2001, I left the business side of behavioral health and began my private practice.
